Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located at 10936 Santa Monica Blvd. East of the 405 freeway and north of the 10 freeway. 2 blocks west of Westwood Blvd.
Q: What are all the different kinds of dance classes you offer? Can anyone take them?
A: Yes, they are all created in an easy-to-follow format. You will have a blast as a beginner, or more experienced student, learning and perfecting moves to the most popular tunes. You can find a description of each class on the Classes Page.
Q: Are your classes for advanced students?
A: No, most of our classes are designed for students of all levels. Classes for more advanced students will be noted as “Some experience recommended” on the Descriptions page.
Q: What if I don’t know how to dance?
A: Not a problem! Our classes are designed for everyone with a desire to dance, to get a great workout and have fun. You do not need to know how to dance, you’ll pick up the steps quickly and easily.
Q: How do I choose a class that is right for me?
A: If you are a beginner, please look for classes that are “Good for beginners” or for “All levels welcome.” You can find these class descriptions on the Descriptions page.
Q: Do you have beginner level classes?
A: Yes, Zumba is open to all levels of students and we offer Intro level Hip-Hop and Salsa classes as well.
Q: What if the beginner class is too hard?
A: Ask about our Private & Semi-private Sessions to learn the basic moves before you take a group class.
Q: Can I drop-in to any class?
A: Yes, all of our classes are drop-in. No commitment necessary.
Q: Should I arrive early to class?
A: Yes, it is recommended to arrive 15 minutes before class to park, sign in and get a spot.
Q: How long are classes?
A: Classes are 60 minutes.
Q: Where should I park?
A: There is free 2 hour parking, Mon-Fri, 8am – 6pm, in the residential area surrounding the Studio. We have lots of metered street parking directly in front of the Studio, which is free after 6pm. We also have a parking lot behind the Studio.
Q: Which classes can I use the Class Pass for?
A: The Class Pass can be used for any of our classes. Workshops and Special Events are priced individually.
Q: How many classes can I take a month with the Unlimited Class Pass?
A: You can take as many classes as you like in a month. Your pass is an auto-renew pass and your credit card will be charged every month until we are given a 30-day written notice to cancel your unlimited class pass. Workshops and Special Events are not included.
Q: Do you have Zumba Classes?
A: Yes we have many fun and exciting Zumba Classes everyday of the week for anyone ages 16 and over. Please refer to our Class Schedule for days and times.
Q: Do you have kids classes?
A: Yes, we have kids dance classes almost everyday from 2pm – 5pm. Please refer to Class Schedule.
Q: Do you have yoga classes? Should I bring a yoga mat?
A: We have Yoga-type classes. They are called, Cenergy, Unwinde, Restorative Stretch and Flexibility. You can find their description on the Classes Page. We have yoga mats but it is always best to have your own.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Be comfortable! You’re going to move and your going to sweat! Wear anything that you feel good moving around in. Also, sneakers or “dance sneakers” are the best types of shoes to wear.
Q: Should I bring a towel and water?
A: Yes, you should bring a towel, you will be getting a great workout and sweating while having lots of fun! We have water available, but feel free to bring your own.
Q: Where is the best spot for a beginner to dance?
A: As a beginner, it is suggested to stand in the middle of the class. For more experienced students and the best view of the teacher, we recommend standing on the sides.
Q: What if I have a problem with my spot or positioning?
A: Please inform the INSTRUCTOR immediately! Do not take matters into your own hands, the INSTRUCTOR and STAFF is there to resolve any issues you may have.
Q: Do you have private lessons?
A: Yes! We offer private dance and fitness lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels (intro to master-level classes). We teach Salsa, Hip Hop, Fitness Training, and can help with students who just want to get started and learn the basics or fine tune techniques and styles of advanced dancers. We will be happy to set you up with an INSTRUCTOR who is right for you.
Q: Do you offer special workshops?
A: Yes! Several times a year. They will be posted to our website and you can join our email list to be notified.
